Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchinis thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • To start making zucchini chips, gather all your ingredients and preheat the oven to ensure it's ready when your slices are. You'll need fresh zucchini, olive oil, sea salt, and any preferred Mediterranean spices.
  • Begin by washing the zucchinis thoroughly, then slicing them thinly. Aim for uniform slices, about 1/8-inch thick, to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
  • Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer on the prepared sheet, ensuring they don't overlap. Drizzle olive oil over the slices or use a brush for even distribution. Lightly sprinkle sea salt and your chosen spices for a flavor boost.
  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake at 225°F (107°C) for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Halfway through, flip the slices so they crisp up evenly. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent burning, as ovens may vary.
  • Once golden and crispy, remove the chips from the oven and allow them to cool on a wire rack. Now, they're ready to enjoy as a delightful, healthy snack!
