Tartar Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill pickles or relish
  • 1 tablespoon minced red onion optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped pickles, red onion (if using), parsley, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
  • Mix thoroughly until smooth and well blended.
  • Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  • Serve chilled with your favorite dishes.
