1 frozen pie crust
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
5 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup cream
1 tsp onion salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, preferably white (heaping)
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the frozen pie crust in a pie dish.
Spread the sliced onions evenly over the pie crust.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, onion salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Pour the egg mixture over the onions in the pie crust.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the pie is set and the top is golden brown.
Allow the pie to cool slightly before serving
