Ingredients
  

  • Ground meat beef, lamb, or a combination
  • Onion garlic, and fresh parsley
  • Spices: oregano cinnamon, and black pepper
  • Feta cheese optional, for added richness
  • Breadcrumbs or soaked bread
  • Eggs for binding
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon for zest and garnish

Instructions

  • Combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, herbs, and feta (if using) in a bowl.
  • Add the onion mixture and mix thoroughly.Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish. Brush with olive oil for a crispy top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 45-50 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Serve slices with a squeeze of lemon and a side of roasted vegetables or a Greek Potato Salad.
