These Keto Ham and Cheese Bites are my favorite snack. They take only 30 minutes to make and have only 1.9g carbs. They are perfect if you are following the keto diet, paleo diet, or any low-carb diet.

Ingredients for Ham and Cheese Bites

This is a quick overview of the ingredients needed for this recipe.  To make the ham and cheese bites, you will need the following:

  • Ham: any good quality of the ham.
  • Cream Cheese
  • Coconut Flour: coconut flour is really good for this recipe, but you can use almond flour if needed. To substitute coconut flour for almond flour, use a quarter cup of coconut flour for every one cup of almond flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Shredded Cheese: I prefer to use mozzarella cheese, but you can use cheddar cheese
  • Eggs: medium size

How to Make Keto Ham and Cheese Bites

You will need a cutting board, a mixing bowl, a spatula, a large cookie sheet, and parchment paper.

Cut the Ham

In A Mixing Bowl, Combine the Ham and Cream Cheese

Add The Shredded Cheese

Mix all the ingredients well.

Cover A Baking Sheet With Parchment Paper and make the bites; the number of bites you will get will depend on the size of each one.

Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes. Once they are done flip them over and cook the other side for 5 minutes.

Cheese Substitutions

  • Cheddar Cheese: Use for a sharp, tangy flavor.
  • Mozzarella Cheese: For a milder taste and gooey texture.
  • Swiss Cheese: Adds a nutty and slightly sweet flavor.
  • Pepper Jack Cheese: For a spicy kick.

Extra Flavor Addition

  • Chopped Fresh Herbs: Add 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh herbs such as chives, parsley, or dill for added freshness and flavor.
  • Garlic Powder: Add 1 teaspoon for a subtle garlic flavor.
  • Onion Powder: Add 1 teaspoon for a hint of onion flavor.

Storage and Freezing

To store these Ham and Cheese Bites, place them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

You can also freeze them on the baking sheet so they will not clump together. Before placing the bites in a container or freezing them, let them cool to room temperature. Make sure you use a freeze bag to cover the baking sheet.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Ham finely chopped (any good quality ham)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese 1 package, softened
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese cheddar or any preferred cheese
  • 2 Eggs beaten

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and beaten eggs until smooth.
  • Add the coconut flour and baking powder to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
  • Fold in the chopped ham and shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  • Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown and set.
  • Allow the bites to cool slightly before serving.
