Ingredients:

  • 1 roasted chicken leg
  • ½ cup broccoli florets 
  • ½ tablespoon. unsalted butter softened 
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 

Suggested Side Dishes

  • Steamed rice
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Side salad with vinaigrette
  • Garlic bread

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add the chicken leg to the baking sheet and roast, flipping halfway through, until the skin is crisp and golden for about 30 to 35 minutes.  
  3. Boil the broccoli in lightly salted water for about 5 minutes.
  4. Drain the water from the pot and keep the broccoli in the pot. Keep the lid on to keep the broccoli warm. 
  5. Mix all the butter, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to create garlic butter.
  6. Serve the chicken broccoli with garlic butter. Enjoy!
